Inspired by the centuries-old tradition of log home building in Europe, Fink Custom Log Homes has been making quality log homes for over 12 years. Owner Burkhard Fink learned the craft of log home building in his native Austria and built custom homes in Europe. He brought his skills and passion for log home building to Canada, founding Fink Custom Log Homes in 1991. Burkhard believed that the enduring qualities of a laminated beam home so popular in Europe were waiting to be discovered by North American home builders. Since then, a Fink Custom Log Home has become synonymous with fine European craftsmanship, natural beauty and easy maintenance.

To keep pace with the growing demand for the natural beauty of a log home, Fink Log Homes primarily creates personal dream homes and cabin retreats. The office and production facility are situated in the beautiful North Okanagan Valley in south central British Columbia where premium-grade pine and spruce are abundant.

With each home we build, there is not another one like it anywhere. Whether you come to us with your own plans or prefer to chose from one of our in-house plans, your home will be customized to reflect your personal style. The frame of your new home can be the traditional log walls and beams, timber frame style (currently enjoying a revival) or may incorporate features of both. Interiors can be enhanced with the addition of log accents such as rustic hand-hewn beams and high quality carvings and staircases crafted by our talented German “Master Carver”.
